The RO‑BIKI NOTE Texture Series reimagines waxed paper by highlighting its natural texture, depth, and aging character. The cover is made from wax‑treated paper that evolves over time—developing subtle scratches, creases, and fading that create a distinctive vintage look unique to each user.

Through engraved press rolls and carefully controlled raw‑material colouring, the embossed patterns and tones gain added richness after waxing. Variations in wax absorption create gentle contrasts in transparency, enhancing the tactile and visual experience. The Edo‑cha (Edo Brown) colour draws inspiration from a traditional brown popular during Japan’s Edo period, historically used as a base tone for kosode garments, and valued for its understated elegance.

Inside, the notebook features Soliste paper, selected for its versatility and writing performance. The blank pages work beautifully with pencils, ballpoint pens, fountain pens, and dip pens. Durable thread‑bound binding with glue allows the notebook to open fully and remain secure even when folded back completely or used over long periods.
